Year 5 pupils Tom, Oliver, Cassie, Harley and Keira have been selected to become Bronze Ambassadors and Health Champions for the school.
Their role is to promote the health and wellbeing of all pupils across the school. In order for them to fulfil this role they have undergone training with other local primary school children at Sir Frederic Osborn Secondary School, gaining an understanding of their role and how they will work within our school supporting the development of health and fitness. It also provides them with opportunities to develop their leadership skills.
On 25th January, the ambassadors and health champions held their first assembly, where they introduced themselves and their role within the school. As they are interested in what activities the children do outside of school and have set up small survey for children to complete. It is hoped that once the information has been collected they will invite children to share activities/clubs that they attend in regular assemblies.
