Alice Smith in Kenya

Alice Smith, the former Head Girl of Moreton Hall School has spent two weeks working with Tom in Kenya.   She stayed with Tom and the family and spent her time on a number of activities.   Some of her time was taken up teaching English in Otieno School.  This is a school for boys (many of the 800 boys are orphans) run by the AIC.  Alice was able to help some of them improve their English.   She also visited Nyakakana Primary School to open a new toilet block there provided by donations from Moreton Hall School and others (see other news item).  Alice had a great time and we are hoping that this will be the start of an annual visit for a student from Moreton Hall to Kenya to work with Tom.
